About us

UNICUS Karlsburg OHG is a biotech company in Northern Germany. UNICUS was formed 2005 by a group of researchers from the former Institute of Diabetes “Gerhardt Katsch” in Karlsburg (later Institute of Pathophysiology, University of Greifswald). Founders and staff members have extensive experience in the generation of monoclonal antibodies as well as in the development of immunoassays for antigen and antibody determination, placing special emphasis on autoimmune diseases.

Apart from an existing unique inventory of monoclonal antibodies UNICUS offers a variety of services for the research efforts of academic institutions as well as pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
